Engagement Card!

I am so happy to announce that my brother-in-law is now engaged to a wonderful (and crafty!) woman. To celebrate their engagement I made them this beautiful card. This is my first time making a swing card, and I love how it turned out.

I used white cardstock cut down to 7 1/2 by 7 1/2 as my base. Then I added on the light blue paper I've had for years. In the swing square I also added a layer of vellum with hearts printed on it. For the text I used my DS to meld the names which are cut from the Jasmine cart on white glitter paper. The "&" came from Graphically speaking (my newest cart) and the hearts were melded in DS from the Hannah Montana cart. I added a few pearls and rhinestones to the front to dress it up a bit.

I am entering this card into a few challenges:

Creative Card Crew- Sparkle & Shine

Anything goes- 3 layers
