Welcome to the World Baby Ryan!

My cousin just had her first child, today, Ryan. I've never been really close to my cousins, because they all grew up in the same city and we always lived far away, but I am overjoyed at the birth of my new second cousin!


I remember seeing the challeneg at Made by Momo and thinking "I have no reason to make a baby card" and wrote it off, until I got a message from my cousin saying they were going in early for a C-section.


This is the first Easel card I've made as well. I used my Doodlecharm cart to cut out the bear and bottle at 1 1/2 and my Stretch your imagination cart to cut out the baby at 2. I used my Fabulous Finds to cut out the blue piece (1 1/2) with his name and Don Juan for his name (1 1/8).


I was also fortunate to find that the Jitterbuggin and Papertake weekly sketches were so similar that I could use this card to enter both.
