Hi Everyone! Welcome to day 6 of the Scrappy-Go-Lucky Blog Hop! Each Day until November 2, Scrappy-Go-Lucky will be giving away one Scrapcessories Cartridge Caddy with one cartridge insert. These are ideal for storing your Cricut Cartridges. The prize will be posted anywhere in Australia- International blog-hoppers are welcome to enter but will need to pay postage if you win.
Onto my card:
The theme for this card swap was "Fantasy". When I think of fantasy I think of elves, fairies, dragons, and princesses! I had to narrow it down a little and when I found this stamp by Inkadinkado, it was perfect!
I love butterflies, and what I loved most about this butterfly is that it was made up of three fairies. Do you see them? Inside the card there is another stamp from the same collection that is a flower made up of butterflies. Isn't it true that fantasy is not always what it looks like:)
For my card, I cut my black cardstock down to 12 by 4, and scored the long side at 4 inches and 10 inches to get my side gatefold. I stamped the Butterfly onto white cardstock and carefully cut around it to leave a slight border. I then attached it to the silver glitter cardstock with a single piece of super sticky tape down the middle, so that I could crease the wings slightly to give it some dimension. I then carefully cut the silver cardstock. and attached it to my card. I used another stamp from Inkadinkado for the silver swirl on the other side of the card. I added some pearls and jewels to jazz it up a little bit.
To enter to win one of Scrapcessories Cartridge Caddies, all you need to do is leave a message on this post. One winner will be drawn for each days major posting. All winners will be drawn at random on Tuesday November 2.
Check back with Scrappy-Go-Lucky tomorrow to see where to go next!
